Just another Manic Monday (and the Fire Drill to prove it)

Today was the start of the week. But how true is the saying, "It's just another Manic Monday"? Well, I went to sleep early last night with the intent to get to work on time. Wrong! Then, while we are at work, the fire drill goes off. A couple weeks ago they were testing the fire alarms to make sure they were fully functional. YES THEY WERE. So today we think it's another drill. We stay seating, disregarding this annoying sound beeping louder than our own thoughts. Thanks to Humberto Sr. he advises to go outside since there were people out there. As we're coming down absolutely not caring what is really going on, we realize a fireman walking in; then the crowd (crowd meaning more than 10) outside, waiting for the "o.k" to go back into the building. We see the Fire Rescue and later the Fire Engine. In reality, we thought it was all B.S. And what if there was a real fire? We could have died, at least jumping out the window trying to to escape death from fire. Anywho, I don't know what happened after they let us back in. It feels like the hatian erased our memories because we never spoke about it again.

Then I went preaching which I thought I was late to but apparently I didn't get the memo that it's going to be at 7:30 now. I mean, the official time is 6:45 and we're starting at 7:11. My time is cut short thanks to our talkative congregation. NO really, they never shut up! I'm part of it!

I'm currently reading this website "FICLET" brought to you buy AIM. It's a website, like this, but with short stories. I'm going to give a try and continue to inspire myself; open my mind to learn new things, re-learn things, and grow as a person.

Mexico and the Emmys (Just how much they have in common)

For quite a while now my friend Cesar and I have been contemplating on a trip somewhere: Orlando, Las Vegas, or Mexico. These trips might not be anytime soon, so I got ahead of myself (sorry Cesar) and went to Mexico this Sunday (or the closest thing to Mexico here in Florida which is Homestead). Our goal, mine and my family, is to get really spicy salsa to eat with chips. We're kinda addicted to chips and dips and guacamole. To our dismay and complete and total shock, no spicy salsa or just yet, no salsa! Everyone kept on saying "Nosotros no tenemos y no sabemos, andale pues." he he he, just wait to I'm able to do something about that 'andale pues' on that little girl that said "NO" to me.

Anyways, we didn't come back empty handed: a few tomatoes, cachuchas, a pumpkin, a watermelon, and chips and salsa (thanks to Publix sabor, Hialeah). Now you may ask how does this actually tie up with the Emmys? Nothing really, I was just watching Big Brother when Yoandy exclaimed to me "YOU ARE NOT WATCHING THE EMMYS?! WHATS WRONG WITH YOU!!!!!????" So then and there did I change the channel only because I was fearing for my life! Just Kidding... but I did turn it on. And just now did I realize that everytime they introduce someone on stage they play the "hottest joint" playing on the radio: STRONGER by Kanye West in a score-like manner. Which just now looked up and saw him up on stage, HOW FUNNY!!

Kanye for President!

Wedding Bells!!

Today, 1p.m. sitting in kingdom hall, awaiting for Mauro and Leslie to get married, dawned to me, "I need to nap; oh and these chocolates are so good". They finally tied the knot and went to Alaska shortly thereafter. These two have been smart in their decision and Jehovah will bless them throughout their married life.

Yoandy recently made a comment on his definition of the "Sarcastic Seven" and what their traits are. To help him out with this task, I am able to sum it all up in one word: SARCASTIC. Hence "Sarcastic Seven" was born. We realize that we all love to be sarcastic and find a dark humor to it. Many say, " No one is as sarcastic as I am". But this force of seven comes together, its one that no one can reckon with (except Jehovah, we love u!) Anyways, it's simple, to the point, and semi-sarcastic towards Yoandy. Oh and BTW, I need to add links to my page from you guys page, HOW?!

It's BACK! Best Week Ever

Friday night as lonely as it gets has become one of the my best nights in a while. I've been exhausted this week between work and gym. Last night bedtime was 2:30a.m. and was yearning for a break from life. As I sit here on my bed...writing this blog... im so relaxed as if I were sitting somewhere in the Hamptons... having myself a cocktail at 10a.m. sitting next to Paris, Lindsay, L.C., baby sitting (wait no baby sitting, dog sitting) for TomKat. Texting Shia to get his A** over here so we can all have a party.. of and to bring Rihanna while he is at it. We all sit back laugh at the VMA's and commend Britney for putting on the show even though we have told her not to. . . . . OK, I'm getting a little carried away, but I am enjoying my lonely friday, in my room, with my laptop, and my t.v. and no worries in the world wondering if there is anything good on t.v.

Why chase the problem when the problem can come to me (and so does the high blood pressure)

It seems that lately my blood pressure has been rising. My patience has been lowering. My life stuck in a rut somewhere in the middle. What can I do? Who can I turn to? In emo-ish words, I'm in a dark place that no one can help but myself. But is this true? What can be done? Only my true friends can help out and because of them I have been able to be positive. As they look in this "dark place" they tell me it's ok and they cheer me up. There is purpose!

Hump-Day (Never really liked that terminology)

I'm so excited that I'm actually writing a blog. It has been a dream for quite sometime to be a writer. Maidel just hugged me. Sometimes I believe that the "hugs" are just to prevent herself from choking me. I still love her. So do I put everything that happens to me here or significant events? Everyday is significant for me!!! I was sleepy when I woke up. Awake after drinking my red bull and frozen coffee from Einsten Bagels. Thanks Nubia, you've opened my mind to try new things in life and to not stick to Starbucks. Starbucks, I thank you for being with me through all those years of sleepiness. Wait a minute, I have no other choice but to be sleepy since I am a narco. Take it as you want! I would show you my t-shirt I bought yesterday in preparation for the concert that SarCasTic SeVen will be attending, but decided not to until it arrives. Alright, more to come ... will come? LOL...
